Mass-rock in Boardee — Report the wrong picture

Boardee holds a mass-rock inside a field fence, marked by local tradition as a worship place during penal times. That is a story passed by people, not a proven event, yet it gives the stone its shape. A priest may have knelt there in rain, or a family may have prayed beside it while avoiding discovery. The fence still surrounds the rock, preserving the chance that faith once hid in plain sight.

Used as a mass-rock during the Penal Times when Catholic worship was banned, it served as a secret site for religious gatherings. No specific saint or cure is associated with the site, though such rocks were often linked to local devotions and acts of faith.
