What is recorded here

In rough poorly drained pasture overlooking stream to W which marks townland boundary with Roran. Ringfort (TN025-042----) 75m to SE. Large roughly rectangular shaped boulder (H 1.2m) known locally as a 'Mass Rock' (pers. comm. Derek Ryan). Local folklore collected between 1937-38 by Mary O'Brien of Curraghmore, a pupil of Boher School, Bushfield, Nenagh ,recorded the following; 'There is also a Mass Rock in our farm.
