What is recorded here
The National Monuments Record of Wales records Margaretha as Wreck from the Modern period. The saved point comes from the official national record. Inclusion does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
The Margaretha was a 17th-century Dutch merchant ship that was wrecked off the coast of Wales in 1646 during a storm. It carried a cargo of textiles and ironware, and while no lives were lost, the wreck is significant as an example of early modern trade between the Netherlands and Britain.
The historic-place record does not grant public access. Check current conditions and ownership before entering land or a building.
