Mapped graveyard

Mapped graveyard is a graveyard in County Monaghan, Ireland. Perhaps the dead lie shallow there, close enough for living feet to press their knees into forgotten skin. Maybe the stones never rose because the earth itself refused to be measured. Imagine rain filling each unmarked hole until the graveyard became a temporary lake, dragging whatever it swallowed beneath the surface.
