London Olympics 2012 Mascot
Mandeville is the name of the mascot for the London 2012 Paralympic Games, designed to represent inclusivity and the spirit of the Games. It was created by a team of designers led by graphic designer Alan Fletcher and is named after the Mandeville Centre, a pioneering sports facility for disabled athletes in Chelmsford, Essex, founded by Sir Ludwig Guttmann, a key figure in the development of the Paralympic movement.
