No visible surface trace. About thirty yards north of the ringfort, a shallow depression measured roughly twelve feet by nine waited in the grass. People called it the site of a man-made underground passage, as if the earth had swallowed a tunnel and kept the secret.

Immediately outside N bank of ringfort (CO022-11901-). No visible surface trace. Bowman (1934, 476) recorded a depression 'c. 12ft. by 9', said to be 'site of Man-made underground passage', about 30 yards N of the same ringfort.
