What is recorded here
No visible chamber exists on the open land, yet a hidden passage and a possible rath lie buried beneath Cloughorr. The absence of a familiar mound does not diminish the claim; it redirects attention to the underground tunnel and the lost structure it may have served.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as Man-made underground passage & POSSIBLE RATH. Recorded period: E.CHRIST.. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
