According to local information, Man-made underground passage was discovered while ringfort (CO120-056003-) was being levelled. Chamber built of slatey stone with anarched roof and was "wide and roomy" inside. No visible surface trace. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
