What is recorded here
Circular enclosure KE014-076---- is marked on the 1842 OS map as being situated in the corner of a field, with a fieldbank cutting the site slightly on the E and another running along the NW side.
'Cave' (KE014-076001-) is marked on the interior of the site. On the 1916 OS map only a tiny section survives to the W to S, and today no surface trace remains.
The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle. Brandon in association with FAS Training and Employment Authority (1995), no. 502. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
