Man-made underground passage in Tanrego East OR Carrowmore is a man-made underground passage in Tanrego East OR Carrowmore, County Sligo, Ireland. Inside the western bank of a rath, a shallow depression three point three metres wide and zero point four five metres deep runs south for about ten metres before widening to four point five metres at its southern end. This shape may be the remains of a man-made underground passage.
At a rath (SL019-139----). Inside the bank at W is a shallow depression (Wth. 3.3m; D 0.45m) which runs in a S direction for c.10m. At its S end its width expands to 4.5m.This may be the remains of a Man-made underground passage. Compiled by: Geraldine Stout Date of upload: 08 October 2013
