What is recorded here

Beneath a Kerry rath, a hidden passage waits in darkness. People sealed its entrance, perhaps to keep out danger or preserve something sacred. The soil above holds no marker, only a absence where shape should be. What was hidden, and why, has vanished with the hand that closed the door.

In a rath (KE065-023----). According to local information, there is a Man-made underground passage in this rath but access to it was 'closed up'. There are no visible remains of this possible Man-made underground passage. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
