Lisbeg (Site of) — Report the wrong picture

What is recorded here

Lisbeg was a small fairy fort on a gentle slope above the River Laune plain, visible on early maps but erased from later ones. It may have been a human home, a boundary marker, or a gift left behind for the fairies when the people moved on. The land keeps the shape of what it lost, even when the stones and soil no longer show it.

Lisbeg/Lios Beag: On the first edition of the OS map this site is shown as a circular enclosure. On the second edition it is marked ‘site of’’. There is now no visible trace of the enclosure. It was located on a gentle, facing slope overlooking the plain of the River Laune to E. The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J.
