In 1982, a hidden T-shaped chamber lay beneath the heart of Rathwilladoon, its narrow main tunnel stretching north-northeast under a single square lintel. By 1992 the entrance had vanished into a shallow stone-filled depression, erasing the doorway but perhaps leaving the chamber intact. The passage may still breathe underneath the grass, waiting for someone brave enough to listen for the echo of the hand that built it.

Within the centre of a rath (GA128-070----). An inaccessible Man-made underground passage, seemingly T-shaped in plan, with the 'main' passage running NNE-SSW was noted when initially inspected in July 1982. One roof lintel (L 0.9m; Wth 0.9m; H 0.3m) was noted. On a revisit in May 1992 a small stone-filled depression marked the site of the Man-made underground passage.
