Inside a working garden in County Kerry, an underground passage waits beneath soil that once belonged to a rath. Men uncovered the hollow space when they levelled the northern half decades ago, freeing the dark tunnel from centuries of buried weight. The passage still marks the land because grass grows unevenly above the void, tracing the hidden shape that human hands carved before the garden existed.

In a rath (KE057-114----), which is used as a garden. According to local information, a Man-made underground passage was uncovered when the N half of the rath was levelled decades ago. An irregular area of differential growth occurs approximately within the original N sector of the rath and may indicate the location of the Man-made underground passage.
