Man-made underground passage in Na Leadhba Liatha

This stone-built Man-made underground passage, not marked on the OS maps, is located in rough pasture at the head of the Ballinskelligs river valley. It is not now accessible but a small aperture between its roofing slabs enables a portion of a drystone-built passage to be viewed. This runs NNE-SSW and is at least 2m long, c. 8m wide, and c. .5m high. The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J.
