What is recorded here

Discovered in 1992 during construction of golf course. Collapse revealed stone-built chamber (long axis E-W) roofed with lintels; inaccessible. Backfilled and covered with soil to form putting-green. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
