What is recorded here

No entrance, no chamber, no chamber at all. The ground itself is the chamber. Step inside the hill and the hill stops pretending to be empty. Five rooms wait in darkness, cut from living rock and earth, their ceilings curved like the inside of a breath. They overlook Little Island strand but belong nowhere visible. The ocean can see them only by feeling the shape of the land above. What they stored, who built them, and when they stopped answering questions are not written on the stone. They are written in the absence of a door.

On rock eminence overlooking Little Island strand. Discovered 1970. Five subrectangular chambers; floors rock-cut; otherwise earth-cut; ceilings barrel-vaulted. Chamber 1: L 3.35m; Wth 1.62m; H 1.36m. Chamber 2: L 4.26m; Wth 1.52m; H 1.45m. Chamber 3: L 3.66m; Wth 1.52m; H 1.43m. Chamber 4: L 3.66m; Wth 1.52m; H 1.52m. Chamber 5: L 3.66m; Wth 1.52m; H 1.4m.
