What is recorded here

Leamnaguila is a hidden chamber within a large rath in County Kerry. In the 1840s, a cavern was recorded there, but its entrance had already been shut. The chamber vanished before modern cameras or maps could capture it. What remains is a ghost of a doorway, sealed against curiosity or decay.

In a rath (KE058-013----). In the 1840s, 'a cavern' was recorded in a large rath, the entrance of which was 'lately shut up' (OSNB, Kilcredane, 19).
