What is recorded here

Within the E sector of the interior of a cashel (CL016-020036-). The remains of this Man-made underground passage consist of a short passage (L 2.7; Wth 1.23m; max. H 0.95m) aligned ENE-WSW. The walls, which are straight, are constructed of small stones (L c. 0.2m; Wth 0.1m) and the passage is roofed with four lintels. Two further lintels, visible on the surface to the W, indicate the passage was at least 4.7m long. Both ends of the passage are blocked with spoil.
