What is recorded here

Knockdoorah holds a buried passage inside an old fort, perhaps a hidden room or breathing hole for people who lived there before memory faded. The ground still dips beside a large stone in the northeast quadrant, marking the place where the earth was cut or collapsed. Tom Daly’s land kept the shape long enough for others to wonder what disappeared beneath it.

In a rath (KE068-001001-). A possible Man-made underground passage was recorded in the 1940s as a 'big hole in the ground in the middle [of] an old fort' in Tom Daly's land (Schools Manuscript, Co. Kerry). A depression, and an adjacent large stone, in the NE quadrant of the rath may mark its location.
