Kilpaddoge holds a man-made underground passage hidden beneath a small stone mound inside a bivallate rath. The rath has an oval inner area, a clear inner bank, a fosse and a faint outer bank, while the mound itself measures about two metres across. A person may have built the passage to keep goods warm, hide during storms or reach another place without crossing open ground. Whatever its purpose, the mound still marks the entrance and the rath still surrounds it like a forgotten room waiting to be entered.

Bivallate rath KE003-010---- lies NE of KE003-009----. It consists of an oval inner area enclosed by a well-defined inner bank, fosse and barely distinguishable outer bank. In the W sector of the interior there is a small mound of stones c 2m x 2m which, according to the landowner, covers a Man-made underground passage (KE003-010001-).
