Kilnacranagh West in County Cork, Ireland, revealed two stone-built chambers connected by a narrow creepway when a sand quarry broke through the earth. The passage lay beside a graveyard, suggesting people had gone below to hide, pray or remember long before the machines arrived. The quarry destroyed it, but the shape remains: a chamber for entry, a chamber for staying, and a low way between. Forgetting is easier there, yet the buried rooms still resist erasure.

In graveyard (095-08101-). Discovered when digging began in adjacent sand quarry. According to local information the Man-made underground passage consisted of 2 stone-built chambers connected by a creepway. Subsequently destroyed.
