Man-made underground passage in Kilmacanoge South

Situated on the lower eastern slopes of the Great Sugar Loaf mountain. A Man-made underground passage and possible hut sites (WI007-066001-) which produced some settlement evidence (Lucas 1970, 166). The entrance of the Man-made underground passage is still visible. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
