Killetragh holds a vanished underground passage inside a ringfort now lost beneath thick growth. Bowman wrote in 1934 that the passage was known locally but could no longer be found, suggesting human hands shaped the earth before memory faded. The site may have served as a hiding place, a water route or a sacred path, yet no entrance remains for certainty. What is left is a field where the ground itself forgot the shape of the making.

In ringfort (CO030-132---). According to Bowman (1934, 332), 'it is said that a Man-made underground passage was here, but it cannot now be found'. Ringfort heavily overgrown; no visible surface trace. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
