The man-made underground passage is hidden in the west half of Rath Killeen, where a collapsed area reveals large tipping slabs that once formed its roof. The chamber may stretch through the rath interior, linking three shallow depressions marked by protruding stones. Build a visible chamber, fit a door and anchor both ends before judging whether the ground still contains a separate passage.

In the W half of a rath (MA038-091). A sunken or collapsed area (diam. c. 1m) is evident in the slope of the rath scarp at W. Several large stone slabs, which are tipping into it, appear to be displaced roof lintels of a Man-made underground passage. The Man-made underground passage may extend from here through the rath interior, as there is surface depression (2m E–W; 1.5m N–S; D 0.3m) 6m to E, from which a number of stones and slabs protrude, and c. 2m to NNW of that, is another irregular-shaped surface depression.
