No visible passage remains in the Kerry pasture, yet local memory insists a man-made tunnel still breathes beneath the grass north of the rath. People reportedly crawled through its partly opened chamber in the 1930s, carrying lantern light into darkness that the land had hidden for generations. The earth kept the discovery alive long enough for wonder to spread, then took the tunnel back.

In pasture, on a S-facing slope. According to local information, there is a Man-made underground passage in a field to the N of a rath (KE048-065----). A number of people are said to have explored the passage when it was partly opened in the 1930s (O'Hare 1997, 13). There are no visible remains of this Man-made underground passage.
