What is recorded here

Glennaknockane holds a man-made underground passage ten yards west of its fort. Bowman recorded it in 1934 after locals found it fifteen years earlier, but they closed it again before it could be studied. The earth keeps that much, swallowing the tunnel and refusing to show whether it was a hiding place, a water line or a forgotten road.

Bowman (1934, 107) noted a Man-made underground passage 'c. 10 yards west of fort [CO013-02101-], (and outside it) found c. 15 years ago. It was again closed'. No visible surface trace.
