Under Gaggan, an underground chamber waits inside a ringfort, hidden beneath soil and time. No entrance or chamber wall remains visible, yet the shape is still recorded in local tradition. People may have dug through clay and stone to build a quiet room for storage, prayer or refuge. The earth kept the work secret, but the memory survived in the names and stories of West Cork.
