Man-made underground passage in Falnasoogaun OR Ropefield is a man-made underground passage in Falnasoogaun OR Ropefield, County Sligo, Ireland. A possible collapsed passage lies in the west half of a rath interior. A 2m wide and 0.6m deep depression extends east-west for about 6m, turns southeast at the east end and continues for 5m.
In the W half of the interior of a rath (SL032-039001-). A depression (Wth 2m; D 0.6m) extends E-W for c. 6m before turning at the E end and extending SE for 5m. This depression may indicate a collapsed Man-made underground passage. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Sligo' compiled by Ursula Egan, Elizabeth Byrne, Mary Sleeman with Sheila Ronan and Connie Murphy (Dublin Stationery Office, 2005).
