Man-made underground passage in Euglaune — Report the wrong picture

Euglaune, County Cork, Ireland, holds two ring forts linked by an unseen underground passage. Broker recorded the claim in 1937, yet no surface trace remains. The missing tunnel transforms ordinary farmland into a speculative maze, inviting imagination to fill the void left by absent evidence.

In ringfort (CO029-072---). Broker (1937, 52) recorded an 'underground passage' in this fort, said to connect it with another fort (CO029-071---) c. 170m to N. No visible surface trace. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
