Drehid is a man-made underground passage in the southwest of a Kildare rath, remembered only because a 1972 survey read a shallow depression along the inner bank as its possible line. The rath’s floor has since been smoothed into pasture, erasing the very unevenness that first hinted at a hidden route. What remains is a absence shaped like a tunnel: a place that may have let people walk beneath their own boundary, now sealed under grass and silence.

In the SW sector of a rath (KD008-011001-). In 1972, a depression running along the inside of the rath's inner bank was interpreted as the possible line of a Man-made underground passage (SMR file). There is no longer any visible surface trace of this feature and the interior of the rath, described as uneven and undulating in 1972, is now level and under pasture.
