What is recorded here
Under the rath at Derryronan, a hidden passage may have twisted through solid earth. Local memory claims people dug it rather than nature forcing it open. The entrance has vanished, but the idea remains: a chamber built for secrecy, ritual or escape. Forgetting the exact spot does not erase the intention behind the digging.
At a rath (MA072-019). There is a local tradition of a Man-made underground passage associated with the rath (MA072-019). According to one local source, the Man-made underground passage may have been outside the rath. Its exact location is now unknown.
