Derreenataggart West hides a man-made underground passage beneath a possible rath, though no chamber or tunnel breaks the soil today. Local tradition insists the passage still exists, waiting under grass and patience. The absence of visible remains does not diminish the claim; it sharpens it. What was built to be hidden may have succeeded too well.
