Situated on a gentle N-facing slope. A Man-made underground passage in the N quadrant of a ringfort (WA029-002----). It consists of a roughly square chamber (H c. 2m; dims. c. 4m x 4m) with rounded sandstone boulders forming the side walls, a clay floor and lintelled roofing with local limestone slabs. There are two passages (H 0.4m), both running E-W, visible from the chamber. One at the N end of the E wall and the other (L c. 2m indicated by surface soil collapse) at the S end of the W wall, both of which are partially or complete infilled with soil.
