Man-made underground passage in Curraleigh (muskerry West By.)

Discovered c. 1987 when collapse occurred c. 2m NE of hut site (7905). Rectangular stone-built chamber (L c. 8m; Wth 1.2m; H c. 1.2m; long axis E-W), narrowing towards E end; stone lining missing on W and E ends and parts of S wall. Opening (H 0.65m; Wth 0.5m) at W end of N side approached by collapsed entrance passage. All measurements approximate as chamber waterlogged.
