Man-made underground passage in Cragballyconoal

In elevated rocky pasture on the SE slopes of a hill with clear views from E to S and within an extensive multiperiod field system (CL005-160001-). A Man-made underground passage (L 2m; Wth 0.7-1m; D 0.5-0.7m) in the NE quadrant of rectangular cashel (CL005-160038-), visible as a partly filled hollow orientated NNE-SSW. An apparent cavity beneath a stone lintel at the NNE end of the depression, and a curving line visible at ground level, suggest that the Man-made underground passage extends further to the N.
