Under the south bank of a Cork ringfort, a narrow hole opens into a chamber cut from living earth. The passage may stretch north-west beneath the fort's interior, but it has closed to human entry. Whatever hands dug it and whatever purpose it served have vanished with the people who made it.

In S half of ringfort (CO058-055001-). Small opening reveals part of earth-cut chamber extending S under bank and possibly NW under interior of ringfort. Inaccessible.
