What is recorded here
Carrigeencullia holds a man-made underground passage hidden inside a rath, though dense overgrowth still conceals the opening. Local information points to a tunnel beneath the earth, waiting for someone brave enough to find the entrance. The green has claimed back what people built, turning a useful passage into a rumor that moves through the village like a ghost.
In a rath (KE067-027----). According to local information, there is an opening to a Man-made underground passage in the interior of this rath. No remains of this possible Man-made underground passage are visible in the rath which is largely covered by dense overgrowth.
