Carrigagulla in County Cork hides several earth-cut chambers joined by narrow creepways, with one chamber holding masonry that may have served as a construction shaft. The passage lies about eighty metres east of a ringfort and leaves no visible trace on the pasture surface. People may have dug it to reach water, store things, build beside the fort or simply provide a cool retreat when summer heat pressed down. Whatever its purpose, the chambers still exist beneath ordinary grass, waiting for someone careful enough to look for their hidden entrance.

In pasture, c. 80m E of ringfort (CO049-022----). According to local information, several earth-cut chambers joined by creepways were found; one chamber contained masonry, possibly a construction shaft. No visible surface trace.
