What is recorded here
Cappagh (costello By.) holds a hidden underground passage beside its central chamber. Local tradition claims the cave extends west from the main hall, yet no entrance remains visible. The missing opening suggests the passage was deliberately closed or buried after it stopped serving the people who built it.
In a ringfort (MA082-018----). According to local tradition, there is a ‘cave’ or Man-made underground passage to W of centre in the ringfort. There is no visible trace at ground level.
