Man-made underground passage in Caherulla

Situated immediately E of a small stream which is flowing S, sub-circular univallate cahir KE014-027---- is enclosed by an overgrown stone bank. In the N sector the remains of a chamber are visible. Leading out from this chamber is a U-shaped tunnel which curves S. Drystone walling is evident in both the chamber and tunnel. The above description is derived from C.
