Bohernabredagh holds a collapsed underground passage inside the north-west bank of its ringfort, marked now only by a three-metre depression. People dug through solid earth there, perhaps to hide, escape or reach another part of the settlement without being seen. The roof fell, the entrance filled, and the passage stopped answering footsteps. It still lies beneath the grass, waiting for someone to remember why it was made.
