Man-made underground passage in Ballyconnell — Report the wrong picture

According to the landowner a Man-made underground passage system was uncovered several years ago. It lies W of a univallate rath (727). The Man-made underground passages have been closed up and no visible trace survives. The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle. Brandon in association with FAS Training and Employment Authority (1995), no. 1131. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
