In a field W of Ballincloher Cross is a series of Man-made underground passages. It consists of a series of short man-made passages connecting a line of small natural caves in a hill of limestone (Kerry Field Notes, 1941, 228). The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle. Brandon in association with FAS Training and Employment Authority (1995), no. 1127.
