Attinaskollia preserves a buried passage inside an ancient rath, though no tunnel remains visible above ground. A shallow depression at the western edge may mark the collapsed roof of that hidden work. People built the passage deliberately, then loss, soil or forgetting closed it. The rath still stands, but the clever part has withdrawn beneath its floor.

In a rath (MA050-004001-). According to local information there is a ‘filled in Man-made underground passage’ in the interior of the rath (O'Hara 1991, 130, no. 2). A low depression (c. 5m E–W; c. 4m N–S) at the W edge of the rath interior may be subsidence related to the Man-made underground passage, otherwise there is no trace of the Man-made underground passage at ground level.
