Man-made underground passage in Ardmore

An opening to this Man-made underground passage is located at the NE side of a NW-SE field boundary in an area of level pasture a short distance NNE of Glan Lough, Immediately inside the opening is a sheer drop of at least 2m into what appears to be an oval-shaped lintelled chamber with sides of earth. At its W end is a small creepway. It was not possible to investigate the Man-made underground passage further. It is not marked on the OS maps. The above description is derived from A.
