What is recorded here

No visible marker remains for the underground passage in An Fearann Iarthach, only a local belief that stone and soil conceal a narrow route beneath the land. The Caher gave up its material for nearby houses, suggesting the hidden work was never distant or sacred enough to preserve. What was built there may have served ordinary people, and ordinary people may have taken it apart when its stones became useful.

A Man-made underground passage (KE106-051002-) is locally reputed to exist at this site, but its exact location could not be determined.
