No visible surface trace. A man-made underground passage runs through the northwest quadrant of ringfort 8316 in County Cork, Ireland. Conifers now crowd the interior, hiding the entrance and perhaps the shape of the route below. People may have built it to keep water out, move goods, escape danger or reach another part of the fort without crossing open ground.
