Man-made underground passage — Report the wrong picture

What is recorded here

No visible ruin exists today, only a shallow depression in the ground. Under that quiet soil a narrow passage still bends through solid earth, waiting for footsteps that have not returned since the last human lit it.

In SW quadrant of ringfort (8196). Broker (1937, 47) recorded passage 'about 41/2 feet high and 4 feet wide' which 'turns twice. There is no stonework as the earth is solid'. Depression (Wth 2m; D 1.2m) in SW quadrant of ringfort indicates position. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
