Man-made underground passage

In NW quadrant of ringfort (CO034-04201-). Investigated by Lee (1932, 24-5), who described beehive chamber (diam. 2.15m; H 2.43m); NW sector collapsed. Creepway at E end to passage (L 4.58m; Wth 1m; H 1.21m) which sloped steeply up to entrance (ibid.; McCarthy 1977, 178). Collapse in NW quadrant, just inside bank, allows access to stone-built corbelled chamber with passage extending SE towards entrance; not explored.
